Vaniteux : A Salon

Vaniteux is a salon concept owned and operated by Carol Kirby as an independant contractor with in Stage Door International Hair Designers of Houston, Texas.

Carol Kirby has been in the beauty business/salon Industry for nearly 10 years, and has trained not only with Toni and Guy in the US, but also their London Academy. She has also done advanced training with L'oreal in Paris. She is also certified in the Hair Police method of dreadlocks (real and synthetic) and hair extensions.

I am a licensed cosmetologist based in Houston, Texas.

I pride myself on my versatility. My clients range from artists to attorneys to housewives etc... My working style is much different than what you would expect from some one like me. I prefer to work with my client's hair, not against it, creating the perfect cut and colour to fit them. Why blow dry anymore than you have to? No two of my clients look alike, every thing is detailed to fit the individual.

I believe in using the best quality products available, and have recently begun working with ALFAPARF Milano's "Evolution of the Colour" and their Semi Di Lino Diamante and Spledore di Fiori di Lino. I also use TiGi BEDHEAD, Catwalk and Pureology products.

So, whether you're a diva or a dish washer, a singer or a soccer mom. I've got what you're looking for. You look great, but I can make you look better!
